This is our meticulously designed DIY MDM-Material Detection Module, specifically developed for 3D printers, featuring the following key functions:

Notice:

We currently offer a variety of encoder models, allowing customers to select the most suitable option based on their printing speed and requirements. By default, the provided printable part uses a 3.5mm resolution encoder, which minimizes false triggers at a flow rate of 20mm³/s.

For lower flow rates, a 1.73mm high-resolution encoder can be used to improve detection precision. Conversely, for higher flow rates, customers can opt for a 5.8mm low-resolution encoder or increase the detection length in the configuration file.

This flexibility addresses the potential signal loss that may occur when Klipper processes encoder signals at excessively high frequencies, ensuring reliable performance under varying conditions.
